Amrita Tamang, currently leading capacity-building projects in an international organization, focusing on empowering individuals. Holding a Master's in International Relations and Diplomacy, she is passionate about fostering sustainable leadership in Asia through initiatives like OMLAS.
OMLAS project: She aims to collaborate with passionate youths and aspirants individuals in the development sector. Together, their focus will be on research writing to enhance knowledge and capacity within the community. Potential project ideas include conducting research on local sustainability challenges, drafting policy papers on community development initiatives, and producing case studies highlighting successful social innovation projects. Through these collaborative efforts, the team aims to foster the growth and empowerment of next-generation leaders in sustainable development. She plans to initiate the project from Dhading district, her hometown. Subsequently, she aims to expand the project's reach to Kathmandu, leveraging its broader resources and networks to further amplify her efforts. She aims to address key Sustainable Development Goals; SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
